CA MULE DEER 

This is our second year offering CA Mule Deer hunts on Hutton Peak Ranch.  Our first year was a success with all six hunters shooting good bucks.  This 3,000 acre ranch is located near Fillmore, CA in Ventura County. 

This CA Mule Deer hunt is for four days and is guided on a 2x1 basis.  The hunt requires a D-13 tag and the 2013 season is expected to run from October 12th to November 10, 2013. There is also a late season muzzleloading hunt that requires an M-7 tag.   We expect this season to run from November 23 to December 8, 2013.  We are trying to enhance the herd dynamics, so we are focusing on older or odd bucks until we see improvement of the resident deer. So you can expect to shoot a nice 3x3 or 3x4 buck.  Lunch, snacks, and beverages are provided.  At this time lodging is not available, but there are hotels located nearby. 

This is a great opportunity to shoot a buck near your home (ranch is only 20 minutes from the LA County line) and hunt some really wild California country.
