Nothing like finding a 212+ buck laying in the sagebrush. If this buck was just 10 feet further behind that tall sagebrush, he probably never would have been seen. Good luck for Mike and Don!. Since this is a photo through a spotting scope by Don Anderson, it must be assumed that they were not close enough to make a shot from this distance. Therefore, it must have taken them a considerable time to reach a vantage point from which to sniper this buck.It is also assumed that either there was a camera malfunction, or some other difficulty since there are no photos with Mike "Slippers" Hattaway holding this magnificient buck. Mike also had the #63 buck. He didn't stop there though. Slippers will also show up at #17 as well. There are a only a select number of clients who show up three times on the Top 100. Even from this photo, you can appreciate the frame and the mass of this buck. He also has great scoring G-4's.
