#34 WILL HARTER Top 100 Santa Rosa Island Mule Deer Bucks
Whoever guided Will would always be in for a treat. He's just one of those guys who you naturally gravitate to, and a joy to be around. We don't get many school teachers on the Island, so Will was a bit of an anomoly. So we were all excited when Will and guide Will (Will squared) shot this magnificient buck. Another impressive buck from 2010. This buck has a great frame and one of those curly Q drop tines. His bases are very heavy as well. I want to think that this buck had been seen a couple days prior but they couldn't find it. Perserverence paid off once again. A curious thing about this buck is that while he still have a full coat of velvet, he has already shed his summer coat and has a fabulous winter coat.
